Number of players: 2–5
What you need: A standard deck of cards (52 cards)
Drinking factor: medium to high
🔄 Gameplay:
-
Goal of the game:
Get as close to 21 points as possible – without going over. -
Round start:
Each player takes turns drawing cards from the deck.
You can say “stop” at any time if you think you are close enough to 21. -
Points scoring:
-
Number cards count normally (e.g. 7 = 7 points)
-
Jack, Queen, King = 10 points
-
Ace = 11 points (or 1 if you otherwise get over 21 – it’s best to decide this flexibly)
-
-
Who drinks when?
-
Over 21? Bad luck— take two sips!
-
Closest to 21? Everyone else takes 1 sip
-
Exactly 21? Congratulations! You can distribute 3 sips as you wish.
-
Tie (e.g. two with 19)? Both give each other a drink
-
-
New round:
Reshuffle the deck or simply move on—whatever you prefer. Whoever had 21 last goes first.
🍻 House rules (optional, but funny):
-
Ace as first card = Lucky Start: You can give someone a drink straight away.
-
Draw cards with announcement: If you guess wrong whether you are over or not – drink!
-
Joker in the deck? If one is drawn, everyone drinks.
